THE MYSTICISM OF THE DARK ROMANTICS 🌙

The Esoteric Arts maneuver in realms Symbolic and Obscure; by this end, Etheric language is the fineprint, phantom etching of the Cosmic Theatre. While lucid language is preferable for dispatching magical technique and method; poetic language sanctifies it. Though mystical language does produce a spellbinding effect, it is not oblique for the glamour of it; rather the attributions are precise, piercing through the tangled wilds while still having clear-cut, logical rooting. For example, Tarot provides an organized, pictographic framework to which all future correspondences can be ascribed (e.g., planets, gems, deities, plants, etc. can be attributed to the Tree of Life, as per 777). This study strengthens the subtle or ‘extrasensory’ faculties (intuition; visualization; imagination) and cultivates our ability to discern threads or patterns, which seep and swirl through reality. To review, Tantra means ‘to weave.’ Thus, I have great visual affinity, for the letching vines; twines; cobblestone pathways; swan necks; willows; iron ribbons; and tentacles; as these are writhing “movements” more than finite shapes.
To this point, words have auras and reflect the atmosphere in which they were conjured; they pulsate, breathe and spindle just like anything else in the natural world; glimmering atop lanterns and obsidian thickets and Celestial Bodies—larvae under-lit by the blackberry moon, antedating metamorphosis by hand of the Magician. Thus, the Esoteric expresses itself through symbolic language, or Art forms which potentially ‘devour’ us into gnostic mesmerism. Any act which completely consumes us, eliminating division between us and the act, shimmers a spark of the non-dualistic state—which can be swollen to Etheric Bonfire. The stately language of the Dark Romantics is royal, supreme and mystical, carrying keys to the ‘transcendental experience.’ As Israel Regardie outlines crisply in introduction to 777, the writings may not be intelligibly clear, in a rationale sense, at first glance; but on an instinctual level, the ‘lyrics’ transport the reader to the state of the Author in Mystica!
