Telepathy & the Vedas ☽

In previous Yugas, we did not need written or verbal communication because our consciousness was so subtle and oceanic, we could reach others instantly. Remember, “heaviness” “loudness” or “brightness” do not necessarily mean more powerful. The Vedas and Tantras teach that subtly is often more powerful, as energy is less limited and can “shapeshift.” This is why Ma or Adya Shakti is the greatest sorceress, she can take any form she pleases to help teach you. Think of music: you cannot “grab it" or “eat it,” but it is wordlessly evocative, transformative and needs no explanation to ensure its visceral truth is experienced by listeners. Music relates to Jupiter, sex and the ether element, as it works off the pulsing creative, libidinous force which Ketu also partially symbolizes. Ketu, a mystical serpent, is the most dreaded but magical celestial body, he is “headless” and disembodied, but confers illumination after purification. Ketu has no head because he does not symbolize communication and data processing through logic and the senses, but transmission through something deeper and instinctual. In the modern era dominated by Rahu—facts, sensory parades and meta-analyses are often mistaken for wisdom, a topic for a different time. In the Kali Yuga, or the Dark Ages, our intellect is “tamasic,” or sleepier, denser and dimmer, so it becomes vital to teach in a way that is compelling, expressive and sensorial to grab people’s attention. It is always the job of the scribe, relating to Virgo and the Hermit, to preserve and “teach” esoteric wisdom in updated ways. This is as Vyasa did when he rearranged the Vedas, and also as Crowley and Damien Echols in the West. Virgo reveals the way something is tangibly presented affects its essence. Physically, Virgo relates to adorning the body with precious metals, oils, flowers, etc. to manipulate the subtle body—as Virgo is the “crust” of the earth above the Underworld. Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the patron of Magic—poised, precise, observant, analytical, detailed and meticulous, but also very sensual and attractive, being the height of feminine “yin” receptivity in the earthly sense.
