Dévoration Vampirique & The Gateway of Silence

Particular sounds correspond to particular planets, which we subconsciously intuit. The sound carries the intangible mood of the planet, star or constellation; and the heavenly bodies communicate with us through this mood. This can be used to obvious benefit. Music of the sea and the stars, for example, conjure a force so powerful, it eclipses the rational mind in totality. Mantra works by similar principle, and has gradual effect on the subtle and physical body. Repetition steadily overwhelms the senses, and the intellect is devoured by the maelstrom of scent and color. This is the job of the Magician, you know—to mist out the rational mind, to take you somewhere deeper. For this reason, a High Priestess, Aghori or Adept may be perceived as ferocious or loathsome, in some aspect. But really, she reflects our own attitudes. In positive function, the Priestess swallows impurities, just as music devours us momentarily. It is this sense of momentary annihilation of self, a 12th house idea, which is a fleck of liberation or passage into higher birth. Remember, the 12th house corresponds to Ketu and the blurred line between annihilation and liberation, hence rulership over prisons and sanctuaries. The 12th house is ‘the Wilderness,’ anything philosophically outside of tradition. Here, Deities like Kali and Tara take aspirants from lower to higher awareness, beyond the ocean of space-time. Like Kali or Tara, intelligences with tremendous force are often considered dreadful by the commoner. Yet Angels, Asuras, Nephilim and Devas all have titanic auric fields. Who discerns the nature of these intelligences, and from their point of view, do our codes and ideals apply? Some are quick to brand terrible what they cannot understand intellectually. By this principle, Music releases compressed forces and scenes buried in the bowels of our subconscious, though we may not know their precise point of origin. If we stretch this concept, the commoner does not remember past lives to enjoy the fruits of this life. Unfortunately, the Adept is not lauded with the delusion that the flat, leaky ‘world’ is all there is, having crystallized himself in ‘gates of silent memory.’
