ARIES MAGIC—LAVA AND THE FIRE OF VISION!

A Magician is often identifiable by the penetrating wildfire radiating from the Eyes. This fixed gaze, both startling and alluring, will activate an intense response in others. All persons gather and can project massive amounts of energy from the Eyes. Interestingly, the element of Fire correlates to spiritual “sight.” The more heat or “Tapas” generated from our spiritual practice, the more our limitations are dissolved by this subtle, spiritual fire storming in our subtle, light bodies, and the more we can “see.” It is best to faithfully maintain a daily practice, however simple, to stoke this alchemical fire brightly. In the third clip of this video, Trey Azagthoth is speaking about “sacrifice,” as the ultimate “sacrificial fire” is fueled by an enduring, single-pointed focus, or completion of the Dharma. As within this one-point, infinite points are contained. This Will is projected and directed toward his band, where his heated, physical performance functions as his own mystical ritual or devotional “offering” to higher energies.

Mars charges its natives with vitality and iron determination; and a raw, throbbing, instinctual connectivity to “bodily realities,” which are both mirrors and portals to Greater Cosmic Truths. I have selected Aries native Trey Azagthoth to express this. Such playfulness, curiosity and boldness foster a direct, spirited, intense relationship to Deity. Trey’s energized enthusiasm, rigorous physical engagement in performance, and whimsically direct approach to esoteric topics embody this.

Aries natives (Mars-ruled) are sometimes painted as bombastic brutes, too emmeshed in the “physical” to cultivate true spiritual progress. This is simply not so. It is precisely the colossal energy emitting from certain “carnal” areas, which can be collected, directed and transmuted to great effect. A pulsing heat, unbridled enthusiasm, passion, intimacy with the physical body, intuition, and sensual enthusiasm, are potential passageways. Moreover, whether a constituent is determined “poison” or “elixir” is often determined by its use. In my personal experience, Aries natives have consistently been some of the most insightful, magically minded, driven and spiritually adept individuals. Cosmically, due to Aries close proximity to the Void, similar to Pisces, they can grasp and commune with subtle energies skillfully.

Systems of Magic are often more about “doing” than “believing”, with the ability to “do” (focus) honed by meditation and mental training. These Aries natives are not only intensely, instinctually pulled to esoteric topics, but achieve by completing the practices. For example, sitting still and focusing on one visual point in meditation, which can be rather challenging, for a few minutes to begin day has tremendous benefits. This transcends the actual meditative period.

Aries natives often stray from orders, lodges and limiting doctrine, in favor of autonomy, gnosis and claws-on experience. This is essentially Magical self-reliance, where the interior map is honed by every and all experience, and is in turn purified and expanded by the Holy Fire. Mars is adept at stirring energy; inciting it to move. Consequently, the heat of the Aries burns through stagnate energy, warming, enthusing and lighting the way for persons around them. These natives can work themselves up into rapturous states, and pour this scorching force into Sigils, Talisman or Yantra (with the “Self” being the ultimate Magical Device) of their choosing to great effect. They encourage others to be direct, and can potentially electrify others into higher vibratory frequencies. Trey speaks of evading mechanistic logic, preferring to fall into the body; allowing interior electricity to bridge to higher forces and funnel back into his fingers, producing Lava. We can quite literally “drink” this force, reflected in the works, voice and mere aura of these natives, and feel invigorated, churned and purified.
